How is it that...


Spider-Man can stick to walls if he wears gloves and shoes? Wouldn't his spider-sticky skin need to make contact with the wall to stay on it?

I've often wondered that myself. Perhaps it is just momentum of movement that keeps him from slipping down or falling outright.

But then I would also have to dig into the physics of why Wolverine doesn't bleed - even just a little bit - when blades extend out of his knuckles...

Oh, Kassi, the Wolverine not bleeding thing is a very good question. The only "reasonable" explanation for that is that one of his mutant powers is rapid healing. I know, I know, you'd still expect a trickle of blood before he could heal, right?

And how can Superman fly straight without wings or a tail fin/rudder thing?
